- On the rear wall there is an opening (with a sash window) suitable for airing and/ or hay feeding. The penthouse provides shelter from the rain for the divided trough attached to the front of the run, which allows the hay to stay dry and clean. The practical trough shape provides an easy and fast refill of the milk and the hay.
- The built-in lifting handle on the top of the hutch allows machine lifting.

- It can be assembled easily and within a short period of time.
- All the accessories (trough, hay wire, bucket) are attached to the outer side of the fence. The practical gate helps the easy pass of the staff and the veterinarian to the kraal. During drinking, the "collar" fixes the position of the calves at each and every bucket; hence they cannot bother each other until their release.
- The vent on the rear wall allows the continuous flow of air.
