General Description

The AGROPLAST-Garden Swimming Pools are ready plastic pools made from glass-fibre reinforced polyester - in one piece. Their material resists to the load caused by the weather change and to the sunshine. Their high-gloss, blue-coloured inner surfaces can be easily kept clean. This layer is also the guarantee that they can be used for long years - with a minimum maintenance - undisturbed.
On the edge of the pools there is a turned out edge, the lowered water level is formed 12-15 cm under the edge. With the exception of the pools of type Velence II and of type Velence paddling pools, at all the types the entry is eased in one side by means of stairs which also can be used as a sitting bench.
If one of our pools found your approval, and your decision for its implementation was made, our plant undertakes its professional transportation to your home and also its installation in full circle.
For your information we inform you that the pools having a volume exceeding 5 m3 require building-licences. Therefore, inquire at the technical department of the local mayor's office about the necessary official task.

Installation Instructions

The garden swimming pools are installed mainly in a groundwater-free grassy surroundings, at a place protected against the wind, a bit lifting out of the surroundings.
In the respect of the water load the pools are not self-holding, they become such by concreting round performed at the installation. The way of building-in of the pools is as follows:
- Pit excavation according to the dimensions of the pool (the concrete thickness of 15 cm around the pool is generally sufficient).
- Spreading a 10-15 cm thick, rammed (drainage) pebble bed.
- Formation of an about 15 cm thick concrete base plate with four-way reinforcement with an inclination corresponding to the bottom of the pool (with the omission of the places of the floor sink and its off-take pipe) with a finished surface.
- Insulation of the external mantle surface of the pool by means of 5-mm thick polyfoam-plate.
- Cutting out the base body of the pool at the corresponding places, in the cut-outs the mounting - providing water-sealing - of wall-passage pieces, building-in sets, installation basic elements, the final engineering mounting of the outer wall of the pool.
- Spreading a 10 mm thick polyfoam-plate on the cleaned concrete base plate reached the corresponding strength (8-10 days), and the placement of the pre-mounted pool onto that (the bottom-protecting foot laminated on the lower corners of the pool must be removed previously by means of a sharp-edged knife up to the lower level of the pool). Instead of the polyfoam-plate is permitted also the spreading of a mixture of fine-grained sand and cement, and into that the placement of the pool.
- Concreting round the part between the pool set into the proper position (a difference of 0.5 cm per metre is permitted), then reinforced around and the pit wall up to the edge of the pool so that at the same time with the layering of the concrete the water level inside the pool is also raised continuously inside the pool, and as far as it is possible, it is held about 15 cm above the concrete. You must be careful that the concreting releases the support of the stairs and edge everywhere. This work requires great care and proficiency, its wrong execution can cause the deformation, eventually definite damage of the swimming pool.
The application of a concrete pump is strictly forbidden!
- Making a pavement round the pool. The pavement round the pool must be performed so that neither the water running over the pool nor the rainwater can get to the outer side of the pool because it can cause grave damage.

Water Mechanical Mounting

The filtering-pit house created next to the pool serves for the placement of the water-mechanical devices. These devices must be assembled with the engineering materials coming from the pool to the filtering-pit house. After charging the filtering sand and filling the pump the trial run can be started. Each position of the multifunction valve must be tested. During the trial operation the pool must be cleaned by a vacuum-cleaning performed under water, having performed the analysis of the water of the pool, at that time it is also recommended to put the starting set of chemicals into the water.
In addition to the ground-mechanical mounting our plant also undertakes the build-up of comfort-enhancing devices (underground lighting, water heating /max. 40° C/, counter-stream device for swimming, automatic chemical-dosing device, massage station, pool-slide, etc.).

Operating Instructions

After putting the pool into service the water treatment means a regular task which must be continuously performed.
Without any treatment the water will become unusable in 10-15 days, the water must be changed as soon as possible.
The processes of the water treatment:
      - mechanical filtration
      - treatment by means of chemicals
      - dilution.
The mechanical filtration is performed by means of a water-circulation device equipped with sand filter which was designed for a 3-5-hour circulation. In general, it is sufficient if the water-cleaning equipment filters the water three times daily.
The cleaning (rinsing through) of the filter sand must be performed about weekly. Previously, it is recommended the pool to be vacuum-cleaned. The filter rinsing must be kept as long as the 2-3 % of the consumed water overflows the pool. The so pressed-out water must be changed with fresh water, in order the enrichment of the substances not removable by filtration and treatment with chemicals (e. g. salt content) is prevented.
The tasks of the treatment by chemicals:
- disinfecting (destruction of the pathogens)
- algae killing (destruction of the algae-spores)
- pH-setting in the value range of 7.2-7.4
- flocculation (uniting the very small contaminants into flakes, then their filtering-off)
- prevention of the scale formation (one-time treatment with hardness-stabilising substances)
- wintering (if the pool remains filled with water in winter, then by means of wintering chemicals the property of scale formation of the water sleeping in the pool for months can be reduced, its algae formation can be prevented).
At the dosage of the chemicals it must be prevented that the polyester parts contact directly with chemicals with a concentration above average, therefore the dosage must be performed with corresponding care.

Cleaning, Maintenance

The materials forming on the wall of the pool change the colour of the surface of the pool. After draining the pool these deposits can be removed by means of the corresponding liquid chemicals. Scrubbing, scratching tools, cleaning agents are not permitted to be used. The application of the hypo-chlorite is strictly forbidden because the blue colour of the pool can fade or become white.
Also with the distribution of swimming-pool chemicals deals our company, our service to customers is with technical advice at the disposal of our customers.
It is recommended to clean the pool thoroughly after the termination of the bathing season.
At lowering the pool it is recommended to take the eventual ground-water problems into consideration. In case of a ground-water danger the pool must be -after the cleaning and maintenance -filled up again and kept also in winter in a filled-up state. In this case the water level must be lowered below the level of the skimmer, the water-inlet places must be closed up by means of closing plugs, the water lines must be drained off.
If there is not any ground water, then it is not necessary to keep the pool in a filled-up state. However, at the pools wintered in a drained state there exists the danger of the inward corrugation of the pool-bottom and side-wall to a slight extent. It is expedient to cover the drained and cleaned pools in order it remains clean until the next use.
